She was in search of a slightly secluded, woodsy area to bring Ginko to one day. Somewhere she could let the little pup frolic and play. The quiet woman wore her favorite jacket, the one with the insignia of her military unit from back home, and had her hands tucked into her pockets. She seemed as comfortable in the wild North Park as she did anywhere else... and just as distant.
When people saw Leif, they knew on some sort of instinctive level that she had seen the horrors of war. The dog tags she wore around her neck were a dead giveaway, but they weren't the only one. Her bright blue eyes always seemed to stare through people: the infamous thousand yard stare. It kept most strangers at bay, and it was easier that way. She wandered along the trails, barely making a sound, seemingly lost in her own thoughts.

Indrid paced himself as he walked along the park path, his dual drones silently in pursuit. He'd received an anonymous tip from an [un]willing stranger that there was something here that he could use for his own purposes. What it was, he didn't know, but eventually, he found himself lost in the flora. Sighing, his irritation grew as he eventually came across someone else walking the same path he was. Somewhere within his subconscious he felt that this person was, for lack of a better word, very hardened.
His cybernetic eyes began to glow a light purplish hue as he continued to walk, only talking when he was within earshot. "I'm looking for something unusual here," he said. "And you seem pretty unusual."

Leif stopped, her gaze suddenly focused, as she heard somebody speaking. Tilting her head, she turned to look at him, an inherent lack of emotion written across her face. She blinked once, as if processing what he said. He had, after all, interrupted her walk... when most people ignored her entirely.
Her gaze slid to the droids that followed him, but only for a moment, before returning to meet his gaze with ease.
"Unusual how?" She asked, her voice low and neutral.

"Most humans here are happy to be at the park. You're not. You must be the unusual thing I was told about," Indrid replied plainly while analyzing every bit of the person before him. She didn't seem like much besides his first guess of being hardened.
"Am I correct? Or are you another waste of space like everyone else here?" Indrid always preferred being straightforward with his tactics, and this was no exception.

A waste of space.
This man reminded her so much of another grey haired, violet eyed little gremlin. Except she was much smaller... and a bit more aggressive. It was almost enough to make her smirk.
Almost.
"Think what you will," she said simply. If he wanted to deem her a waste of space, so be it. She kept her hands tucked into her pockets, her body language remaining the same. "I don't know what unusual thing you're searching for, so I have no idea if I am it or not."

Shrugging, he gave the stranger a sadistic look. "Alright," he began, commanding the drones to fly far more closer to him as he raised an open hand towards her, the air pressure changing as every ounce of his cyber-enhanced body began to glow. "Only one way to find out. I have a hypothesis and I'm very eager to test it out. If you die, you're clearly not what I'm looking for. Don't worry, I'll do you a favor and get rid of of whoever loves you in this life too." He didn't have time to waste on accidents nor mistakes, he was a busy guy after all, so why not use his all? With those words, a large toothy smile instantly crept onto his face as a massive beam of pure energy flew from his hand, obliterating the nearby plantlife and denting the path as the energy traveled directly towards his target... G.O.K A replica of the infamous “weapon of mass destruction”. This item gives no passive stat bonus, and instead, offers an arsenal of unique abilities. The user may choose to spend 100% of a chosen stat to power G.O.K, activating a correlated ability. The user can use G.O.K once per thread, and upon using it, they will find themself exhausted for three posts, unable to activate any ENG based abilities during that time. God only knows what this will do...
Spend 100% of the following stats to...
ENG: Fire a massive laser of pure energy to deal 150% ENG as damage to a chosen target.

Between the shift of his position, the static charge in the air, and the words, Leif knew an attack was coming. It didn't take a mind reader, after all, and she was more than battle ready. She kept her posture relaxed, her hands remained in her pockets... In fact, she looked almost bored. In one swift movement, too fast for Indrid to perceive properly, she had shifted out of the way of the beam and then seemingly appeared right in front of him once it was fired. Still, her posture and her expression did not change. Blue lightning flashed between her fingers for a moment, and as she moved her hand from her pocket, there was suddenly a concentrated blue scalpel, made of pure bio-electricity, between her fingers. Surely it hadn't been there a moment before. She reached out to grab at his hair, holding the blade mere inches from his neck... All in the time it took him to fire and feel the effects. "Don't shoot at me," she murmured softly, her blue eyes shining with the force of the command. She made no comment regarding the threat to her loved ones. As close as her blade was to him, he would feel the hum of his own bio-electricity responding to hers, like a static shock crawling across the skin of his neck. Zero Ability: She can create electrical-magnetic bladed weapons. The entire length of the weapon is sharp enough to cut. Each blade does 75% of her energy stat, combined with dexterity, in damage.
(She didn't touch him with it, so no damage.)

Indrid was sure it was a direct hit, and so his grin never faded. After all, the last thing he saw before the lazer fired was her just standing there, almost inviting to be hit... yet he blinks and that same lady is now standing in front of him with an electric-blue weapon to his throat, unscathed by his deadliest attack. What the hell just happened? His eyes widened as he immediately sent commands for his drones to attack, but they didn't do anything, instead hovering around in circles before landing softly on the ground.
He completely forgot just how draining that attack was, and now, this lady seemed to be affecting him even more somehow... mostly likely due to the brief streak of lightning that flashed before his eyes just vaguely milliseconds ago. For all intense and purposes, he was screwed and needed to leave or at the very least gain some distance. If not, unlike his other encounters with powerful anomalies, there was a risk that he would be rendered obsolete, a fate worse than death. Indrid attempted to move his head back to avoid the weapon at his neck, staring at the lady with fading to black-purple eyes.
"I couldn't now if I wanted to," He replied through gritted teeth. On the bright side, she was the person he was looking for!

Leif kept the blade to his throat, fully expecting the drones to come to life and attempt to attack her again. She allowed him to tilt away from her blade, obviously not meaning to kill him. She continued to stare, the electricity humming at his throat, before she let it die between her fingers. The scalpel faded away as she released him, taking a step back. Her other hand, the one she had grasped him with, returned to her pocket, while the other remained in the air.
He would catch sight of tiny streaks of blue lightning flashing between her fingers for a few seconds before they seemed to fade away. She clasped her fingers into a fist, then that hand also went into its assigned place within her pocket.
She returned to the same calm, collected posture from before his attack.
"Let me rephrase. I'd suggest you don't try that again." She spoke with no inflection, no emotion, and continued to stare at him with those bright eyes.

As the scalpel faded, Indrid felt waves of relief course through his body, he himself thankful for the cease of foreign electric intervention. He brought a hand to his throat and rubbed it out of habit, his now dim eyes watching a flash of blue from the strange stranger. Rising to his feet, he laughed off the brief shutdown he experienced, not too happy that there was a person living on this earth that essentially served as his off switch. "Like I said earlier, I couldn't if I wanted to right now, but I will." Indrid's eyes and tech-body began to come back online as his purple hue returned, Indrid looking less like a shiny corpse as it did so.
"Doctor Shape," Indrid lied, "That's my name. I'm looking for something that can help in my work and I now know that's you, and I'm not letting up."

Doctor? Leif rolled her eyes slightly but backed off, giving him space. Doctor Shape... Sure. Why not.
"Why would I help a boy that suddenly attacked me?" She asked, keeping her hands in her pockets and her expression as neutral as ever.

"It's the right thing to do of course! I must be pretty desperate to attack first and ask questions later don't you think?" Indrid started stretching in place, mainly his arms, to ensure he had regained all movement in them before cracking his knuckles.
"If you don't believe those words, believe these: it's a matter of life and death, and I'm not very moral." Cryptic, but it fit his needs.

Leif watched him closely, her shining blue eyes taking in every movement and shift. She knew that he would probably attack if she denied him.
"I don't help people who are unwilling to divulge information." She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders.

Indrid mimicked the lady's shrug in kind, smiling. He knew he was finally back at full capacity. The dual drones hissed to life and returned to hovering at his side. "I don't divulge information like that until I know for a fact you WILL help. Just know it's important. Well? What do you say?"
His body was starting to twitch slightly, eager to react quick enough to do what he was scheming if this stranger decided to pull a speedster again.

"My statement still stands."
Leif had spent too many years accepting missions and doing things that she didn't want to do, and she had no interest in getting herself involved in something that was morally wrong.
Lightning danced between her fingertips at the sight of the droids coming back to life, and she kept her lips pressed into a thin line. He had already said he would attack her again, and she had no doubts that she would have to fight him before this was all said and done.

"If you say so."
With those words, Indrid commanded his drones to get ready to attack, the machines charging up... and starting to fire at random people nearby, completely ignoring the blue lightning lady. Indrid himself would start to sit down, enjoying the scene. "I clearly can't beat you in direct combat. But I can do both to them. Who knows, maybe I have a bomb planted somewhere. Maybe I don't. Just agree to help me, let's not drag this on."

Leif sighed softly, as if what she had to do were some huge struggle. This was getting irritating... Yet another run of the mill psychopath out to get his way. She turned her blue gaze to him once more before clasping her hands tight in her pockets. The only warning occurred less than a second before it happened... Her eyes lit up an even brighter blue, almost shining, before a lightning bolt came down from the sky, straight at Indrid! Thunder clapped and little bursts of lightning skittered across the clouds directly afterwards, before dying out altogether. Bolts: Instead of focusing her bioelectricity into a specific weapon, Leif is able to send her electricity out into the air, charging it enough to summon down a single lightning bolt against a singular target that does 100% of her energy stat in damage. If the target has been "marked" by any of her other abilities, the attack is unable to be dodged and does an additional 25% damage.

Glancing at the woman that controlled the deadly blue proved to be both useful and absolutely pointless as he caught her eyes light bright. Indrid raised a brow before wailing in agony. 'What the hell happened this time?' He thought as his entire body short circuited and near imploded on him. It was a good thing his hair was already white, the amount of times he'd been at death's door after arriving in the city would've definitely painted his hair titanium.
Indrid dropped face first to the ground, smoke emitting from his body and his eyes now an absent black; a first for him. "Killing me, not very nice..." Indrid mumbled out through gasps and bloody coughs. He was in zero condition to do anything but focus on staying conscious so his soul didn't completely leave his body, and his Mania Core didn't decide to go offline, ending him for good.

Leif gave a shake of her head and glanced at the drones, assuming they were going to go offline as soon as he did. She walked over to him, lowering herself so that she could reach out and check to see if he had any external injuries that she might need to take care of. Her expression, this entire time, hadn't changed... Not once.
"I didn't kill you," she said simply, reaching out to lightly brush his hair from his face. The moment she touched him, he would feel the remnants of her electricity in her fingertips, like a lifeforce that could damage him worse than he was already. "But I'm also not going to let you go around killing innocent people, just to get me to commit to some plot you're not even willing to divulge information on."
She sighed softly. "If I carry you, will your drones come with us? Or do I need to carry them, too?"

Indrid scoffed at the statement. She might as well had killed him, having electricity and lightning course through him felt like complete and utter death. He twitched slightly as his eyes flickered purple for a brief moment when his hair was moved. At that moment he changed his mind: this felt like death. "Leave the drones and do whatever you want," he reluctantly said, ignoring her comment about killing civilians. When he was stable and ready they'd have this scuffle again, but only next time he was going to fire the big lazer at the people who can't react at the blink of an eye. "I can always get more."
