Jasper let that strange turn of phrase lull in his mind for a moment. Only speakong up when he remembered that he was entertaining company.
"Been altered... what a chillingly relatable turn of phrase."
He would give a deadpan look Keza's way, deep curiosity portrayed by tone of voice alone.
"Who or what altered you?"

"I was... chosen. Invaded."
She spat the last word slightly, obviously displeased with the result of what happened to her. She leaned back slightly and continued to stare at Jasper, her red eyes lit up with a rare emotion.
"An... Angel."

Such vitriol, such contempt. Jasper would certainly be interested in these all too familar feelings. And an angel! The embodiments were resigned to such a terrible fate. One where they become almost parisitically taken over and become their original form. If this was true, this was certainly interesting.
"Is it true then that one day, you will no longer be yourself?"
With that question, the car would stop and he would leave her with that thought as he got out and went around to meet her.

She hesitated, staring at the empty place where Jasper had been only a moment before. Was it true? Was she going to lose herself entirely to the Angel that had claimed her? She could hear their voice more often and louder than before, and the urge to give in had become stronger... but did that mean anything?
She meshed her teeth tightly together as the door was open and slunk out. She hadn't paid much attention to the lessons that would have given her some semblance of an answer, and for the first time, she was regretting it. Was this a losing battle?
"I do not know the answer to your question..." She admitted softly. "I only know that it is, supposedly, my Destiny."

Jasper would nod quietly. It was certainly an awnswer, but not one that was by any means satisfying. Probably not for her either. He would wait for her to get out, and see the lush trees and natural scenery.
"Well. No sense in not enjoying life right now."

Keza's gaze had darted to one side as she contemplated the question, and the weight of her answer. She felt disgusted, with herself, with the church, with Dymtre and the Knights... It was almost enough to sour her good mood.
Almost.
She turned her scarlet gaze upwards, to the forest around her, and her breath caught in her chest. It was like a piece of paradise, here in the middle of her own personal hell.
She moved with a sudden grace, her feet gliding across the grass, and placed her fingers delicately against the nearest tree. Inhaling, she fought back tears, and leaned her forehead against the Bark.
"Its... beautiful."

Jasper would just quietly observe the scene play out. He was deep in thought over their conversation. Only momentarily breaking it to say.
"Is it everything you hoped for?"

As Jasper spoke, Keza was dancing from her first tree to the next. She moved on her toes, barely making a sound, her white-blonde hair flowing out behind her. Her eyes were sparkling with glee as she threw an arm out, and her fingers caught the rounded edge of the tree trunk. It sent her spinning around it, before bringing her to face Jasper once more.
When she was quiet and contemplative, it was easy to forget how young Keza actually was. She was a lost soul, and her red gaze and general distaste for the world aged her dramatically. However, in that moment, with true happiness in her heart...
She really was still a child.
"Its paradise!" She said in her native tongue.

Jasper would chuckle and follow along, his nen made artistic flowers, birds, butterflies, and other such things as he walked. He would just watch Keza as her youth revealed itself. How young was she? Jasper would ponder such things as he observed.
When she spoke, he would speak back in the same tongue. His voice calm and mature as ever.
"Good. This can be your sanctuary when you miss home. If you desire company and don't mind being in the pressence of a witch, I would be glad to accompany you."

Kisaiya stared up at the branches of the trees, watching the way his art filled the empty space. There was a smile plastered across her face, and she reached up onto her tippy toes in an effort to touch one of the butterflies.
"Good company would be nice," she murmured, almost a purr. She pressed herself against the tree, feeling the bark press against her hand and torso. It made her shiver slightly in joy. She had missed this feeling.
"I travel with three others. They do not always make good company."

Jasper would enjoy her happiness quietly. He really felt happy that he could help her. At her words though, he would just seem curious.
"Companions? Who might they be?"
He would pause.
"Better yet, what makes them bad company? Do I need to deal with them?"
Their was a hint of disdain in his voice that combined with his normal serious deadpan let her know he was deadly serious.

She couldn't help but chuckle at the sudden seriousness of the conversation. She wasn't entirely certain if this boy was a safe confidant, somebody she could open up to... but in that moment, it felt like she has an ally. Somebody who cared about how she felt and what she thought. She reached up a hand and brushed it through her platinum hair.
"They have strange ideas," she murmured, turning her face towards the beauty of the park. "Ways of viewing the world, and all of our places within it. They attempt to dictate MY place here, MY destiny..." Keza snapped her jaw shut, forcing back the words that threatened to come pouring out of her. She closed her eyes and tried to refocus herself.

Jasper took a quiet gaze as this occurred. Allowing Kisaya time. He was not the type to pry. He would say this, however.
"If you ever need a place to get away. There is an art shop in the marketplace. I am the owner, and you are welcome anytime."

Kisaiya stood there, her eyes closed, in complete and utter stillness. It was strange, almost unnatural, how still she stood... It looked otherwordly, a tiny, thin Albino girl, standing amongst the grass and the trees. When at last she opened her eyes again, she had regained control of herself and somehow managed to go from outburst to calm. Her muscles unknotted, her shoulders relaxed, and it looked as if she weren't ready to scream just seconds before. Her eyes, a brilliant red, had faded to their almost-human looking pink. At least, they didn't seem to glow from the inside any longer.
She took a single deep breath, and then even her breathing returned to normal. "You own an art shop?" she asked softly, her hair fluttering down along her cheeks as she looked at him. "I suppose I should be surprised, but that seems like such a natural part to your story...."
