There were two things that Rayne valued above all else: eating and sleeping. ...there were three things that Rayne valued above all else: eating, sleeping, and motorcycles. ......there were four things that Rayne valued above all else: eating, sleeping, motorcyles, and people.
Today, only one of those values mattered, and it was of course the second one: Sleeping. Sprawled out on a bench next to a random local business that didn't seem to care, Rayne was catching some major z's, donning the most obnoxiously colorful pajamas a human being could own.
She had an apartment. She had a very nice bed, mountained with pillows and blankets. Hell, she also had a couch, and a dog bed (she did not, however, own a dog). She had friends who owned nice beds and nice couches and nice dog beds, but no. She chose THAT bench, next to THAT store, where EVERYONE had easy access to her smokin' hot bod. Did she care? Nope. She was confident that, even in her sleep, she could kick some major ass.
And so, there she laid, perfectly content and completely unbothered, as most passerbys just seemed to ignore her, even her explosive snoring.
Rayne: 1, Telluride: 0.

Saga was wandering rather aimlessly through Telluride City. With no idea of where to even START looking for her parents, she really felt like she had no direction to go. The TSI interested her, as they seemed to be the closest thing to the government that she knew... but she couldn't recall her parents or the other Pirates ever talking about the TSI. At least, not with those initials.
She was just about to take a turn when a loud snore startled her, and she jumped. Turning in a full circle to try to figure out where it was coming from, she started asking herself WHEN, exactly, she had taken those pills... Surely they weren't hitting her yet? Blinking a few times, she was just about to let it go when she heard the noise again.
Saga began to slowly head in the direction of the noise until she saw a sleeping woman with quite possibly the CUTEST hair she had ever seen. Stopping dead in her tracks, she felt her heart jump up into her throat.
....okay, THAT was definitely the pills.
She slowly approached, reaching out to lightly shake the girl's shoulder.

"HUHWHAZZIT!?" The skittle haired woman shouted, immediately jumping to her feet at the sudden touch. Her santuary had been violated and, quite possibly, destroyed. Who was the person with a death wish!?
Stopping all of her thoughts, Rayne blinked her bright, pink eyes, eyeing the girl from her feet, up her almost bare torso, to her head, where she finally settled on her eyes.
"You're cute," she said, a goofy grin painting its way onto her face. Throwing her arms over her head, she yawned the biggest yawn one could yawn, before running her hands through her hair in a half efforted attempt to tame the rainbow monster that seemed to grow even more lively as the days passed.

"You ain't too shabby yourself," Saga murmured with a grin, reaching out to help the stranger try to tame her mane. The sudden jump hadn't startled her much, in all actuality. Most of the Pirates responded the same way to being woken up. "Nice hair." She winked at the girl before stepping back slightly, putting both hands on her hips.

Rayne closed her eyes and bobbed her head from side to side as the stranger touched her hair. Such a simple action filled Rayne with a lifetime's worth of childlike ecstasy, and she gave a little giggle as the girl complimented her hair.
"Right!? It's quite possibly my best feature! I dunno though, some people tell me I have a bold personality, but I think my hair is bolder. Plus, I think bold hair is easier to say than bold personality. Just rolls of the tongue more, y'know? Haaaaaiiiiir..."

Saga couldn't help but giggle. This girl had gone from a dead sleep to jumping up in rage to excitement all in the span of a minute...
This was something she could get used to.
Grinning from ear to ear, she gave a shrug of her shoulders. "Might be more fun to say, but a bold personality is way cooler than bold hair. That's the kind of thing that never fades."

Rayne just gave a loose shrug of her shoulders.
"Can't argue with that! Anyway, I'm hungry. Wanna go on an adventure, total stranger? Come on, you know you waaaaanna. And if you don't, I know you do, so lessgo!"
And with that, Rayne grabbed at Saga's hand and attempted to pull her along to who knows where!

Saga jolted slightly at the physical contact, but quickly covered her reaction with a laugh. She let Rayne drag her along, still grinning.
"Dinner date with a pretty girl? How could I say no?" She teased, trailing along. She wasn't sure how this girl would tie in with her mission, but all work and no play makes Saga a depresso girl.

“Me? Pretty? Duhhh. Yer a lucky gal, ya know,” Rayne teased, sticking her tongue out at the girl. “So what’a I call ya? How ‘bout... hmm... I’m usually good with dumb nicknames...”

"My name is Saga, but feel free to come up with some dumb nickname. As long as it's not Dreads. That one is too generic." She lifted her free hand and gave a dramatic flip of her hair, still grinning from ear to ear.

"Pfft, whattaya take me for, a loser!? I would NEVER call you Dreads. Probably. Did I just say it? Does that count? I don't even know anymore," She said with a wide grin, shaking her head from side to side. "But uh, you can call me Rayne. Or uh, anything. Anytime maybe? Haha... hah... I messed that one up."

"Its all Gucci," Saga purred, still smiling, as she watched this erratic being bounce around as if she had all of the energy in the world. "I'm picking up what you're putting down, mate."
She winked at Rayne before turning her attention outward, glancing at where they were. "Where are ya taking me? Somewhere good, I hope~"

"Oh fo sho! What're ya in the mood for, hmm? I could go for..." Rayne hummed to herself, as all the images of food ran through her mind. Honestly? She could eat everything. She wasn't really picky -- which ironically, usually made it harder for her to decide on what she wanted.
"Never mind me, you look like an adventurous kinda gal, all the way through! So, let's do something you haven't tried before, yeah? Telluride's greatest! Mystery on a plate. That's not the food, that's just a shitty analogy... I'm really not good at those..." she murmured to herself, scratching the back of her rainbow mop.

"Honestly, I'm used to seafood more than anything. So why don't we try something more turf than surf?"
Saga grinned and gave Rayne's hand a little bit of a squeeze.

“More turf than surf eh? Oh! I got it! Let’s see if you can keep up!” Rayne grinned back to Saga, returning her hand squeeze, before breaking into a light jog onto the somewhat busy sidewalk!

Saga grinned at the challenge, narrowing her eyes slightly. There was no way for her to win in a race when she didn't really know where they were going, but keeping up? That should be easy enough. She trotted alongside Rayne, just a step or two behind her, keeping her eyes on the girl in case she suddenly changed direction.

Rayne fluttered along the sidewalk without a care in the world, her hair dancing around in the breeze she created, and her smile growing with each person she passed. If not for the obvious, she could have easily been mistaken for an oblivious child.
Hell, some people were convinced she was a child in a woman's body.
Which wasn't completely untrue...
Eventually, she came to a stop in front of a little strip of restaurants, before breaking away from Saga and turning around to face her, a wide grin on her face.
"Boom. Look, stuff. Turf stuff!" She announced, throwing her arms up as if presenting the restaurants.

As they came to a stop, Saga struggled to keep her breathing under control. She wasn't nearly as fit as she liked to come off, but this stranger would have no idea, if she had any say in the matter. She rubbed her hands gently against the tiny skirt she wore over her bikini bottom, and grinned the same goofy grin as before.
"Turf options indeed. It's a right schmorgesborg, ain't it?" She glanced over at the restaurants. None of the names sounded familiar, which only served to further her assumption that Dorothy was DEFINITELY not in Kansas anymore. Did that make this girl one of the munchkins? Or was she Toto? The thought made Saga's smile grow as she turned to look her over. Definitely not Toto. Maybe Scarecrow.
....definitely Scarecrow.
"Aight. Which one is the best?"

Rayne planted her hands on her hips and approached the restaurants in a slow backpeddling motion. "I dunno! Let's figure it out together, yeah?" She said with the same goofy grin, spinning into the closest door and swinging it open for Saga in one swift motion.
"Ladies first." She winked.

"Aww, what a gentlewoman~ Cute AND polite? That's a rare combination." Saga gave a slight flourish of her hand before wandering in through the open door, sauntering with her typical confidence.
