Eszrai relaxed his head against the thick truck of the tree he was in as he finished cleaning a gun free of blood from his latest walk. He wasn't sure how he got up in the tree, the memories of what just happened was foggy. All except the hate in the animal's eyes when he delivered their final rites on a bullet.
It was the more wooded areas he was in, at this time of day there weren't many around besides the wildlife that claimed the trees... well, the wildlife that once claimed the trees. Eszrai hopped down, landing in the middle of a few fox carcasses. "Not as fun as human animals..." he said to himself solemnly, not satisfied with how easily the lower life went down, "And nothing interesting either... I guess I'll head into town next..."
